My journey is hopefully over re the oil consumption saga i got my 2010 a3 tfsi black edition back yesterday after 2 working weeks complete engine rebuild free gratis and for nowt thank you preston audi absolutely brilliant service sally and her team. The 14 tsi engine in the fabia vrs was notorious for oil consumption.

Just read on the vw forum that the 14 tsi engine oil consumption is pretty high.

This question was asked on the askdap show episode 10. Its been in for 2 separate part 1 oil consumption tests. I thought it was the twincharged 14 that had the oil consumption issues.
